The first Dolls Point team to hit the pitch for real this season were the new boys playing in the AAB competition. They trekked across to Gardiner Park to take on Connells Point.
Dolls Point started brightly enough going ahead early and dominating territory, possession and opportunities. As so often happens, they were stung on the counter and the opposition quickly pegged one back to draw level.
Dolls Point quickly reasserted themselves and skipped away to a 4 - 1 lead at half time,
The second half started with the teams trading goals and eventually they held onto record a 5 - 4 victory.
